Public Concern Temiskaming will be holding an important Public
Information Meeting on Sunday, February 17, 2002 at the Thornloe Abbey
at 1 pm. Opposition to the Bennett incinerator is growing rapidly
throughout Northeastern and Northwestern Quebec as people are becoming
informed about the extreme health risks of having a hazardous waste
incinerator located in Kirkland Lake.
 
To get to the Abbey, turn west off highway #11 at highway #562 at the
Shell gas station a few miles south of Earlton. Proceed 1-2 miles and
the Abbey is located on your right.
